Why Not Use a Home Washer?
A standard home washer is typically 3–4 cubic feet. A king-size down comforter needs at least 6 cubic feet of drum space to tumble correctly — otherwise, detergent does not rinse out, fill bunches, and the machine can burn out its motor or trip the belt. Our commercial Wascomats run 6 and 8 cubic feet, with a high-speed final spin that gets comforters to the dryer with minimal residual water. That means faster drying, no mildew, and no hot spots from uneven loading.

Two Ways to Get It Done
Self-Service
Bring your comforter in any time 6 AM to 10 PM daily. Use a large Wascomat Clarus Vibe for a single cycle — usually $7–$12 depending on machine size and detergent. Dry it in one of our commercial dryers (about $3–$5). In and out in 90 minutes.
Wash & Fold Drop-Off
Drop it off and skip the wait. Our team washes, dries, and folds it at $1.50/lb on weekdays, $25 minimum. Most comforters are ready the next business day. Same-day available Monday through Friday.
A Few Care Notes
Check the fabric label first — silk, wool, and certain synthetics require dry cleaning and we will tell you if a piece is not a good fit. We use cold-water or warm cycles for most comforters, fragrance-free detergent on request, and low-heat drying for down fills to prevent shrinkage and feather damage. Tell us if you want scented or unscented detergent when you drop off.
