What's the difference between wash & fold and dry cleaning?

If it's washable in water, we probably handle it. Our 80-pound Wascomat Clarus Vibe machines are big enough for king comforters and oversized bedding, which is where many home washers fail. The full list of items we accept:

Some items genuinely need a solvent-based cleaner, and putting them through a water wash can ruin them. We do not accept these at wash & fold — and if you bring one in, we'll say so honestly at drop-off and recommend a local Pomona dry cleaner.

Every bag that comes through our Pomona location gets the same care. Our bilingual attendant weighs and logs it. Then a pre-wash stain inspection — we flag anything needing extra attention and pre-treat fresh stains. We wash with premium Sudsy detergent and fabric softener by default (custom on request: fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, dye-free, or bring your own). Colors and whites are separated. Dryers are set to the right temperature for the fabric type — lower heat for activewear and synthetics, standard for cottons. Everything is folded by hand into a breathable bag, and we text you when it's ready.

One honest note on stains: we do our best on fresh stains, but anything that's been through a prior wash cycle or has been set by heat is much harder to remove. We won't promise a result we can't deliver — we'll tell you at drop-off if we think a stain is unlikely to come out.
